Robotz Dog card

I made this card a little while ago for my Nephew Ethan's birthday. He loves dogs and robots so I thought I would combine the two.

This is the outside of the card

The inside of the card

I used the Robotz Cricut cartridge but I can't remember what size I cut them at. I cut the white card out from Paisley cricut cartridge. Don't you just love the way the robot on the inside of the card has a message that opens up!
I had a lot of fun making this card but it did take me a while. Ethan loved it though and still has it on display!

Sweet Hearts wedding cards

I made these wedding cards and I thought I should share them with you.

I cut the bride and groom at 10cm from the Sweet hearts cricut cartridge. I embossed the wedding dress using my cuttlebug. I ended up colouring the ribbon and green flower stem with copic markers as it was just too fiddly to cut them out of separate paper. I used flower soft for the bouquet which I think looks awesome. I also gave the bride a mini veil and put a flower in her hair. I also used stickles on the edge of her veil. I used a Martha Stewart punch and decorated with bling.
I hope the lucky couple appreciate the effort involved!

Spongebob squarepants pineapple card

I made this card for my Nephew Mitchell's birthday who just loves Spongebob squarepants. If you have ever seen the cartoon you know that he lives in a pineapple house. So what better but to make a pineapple shaped card.

Here is the card

I used my Gypsy to merge the pineapple shadow together and cut it at 20cm. I then cut out the other layers and when I got to the orange layer I merged the door with the top layer using the hide contour feature to get the door by itself. I then welded it to the side of the door opening. I also used the hide contour feature to hide the cuts underneath the window where bob is.

Here is a closeup of Bob

This image was cut at 8cm. It was quite fiddly at this size especially to get the green dots cut and I had to cut a few by hand.

Here is a view of inside the door

Mitchell also collects cards so I made him some cards to add to his collection. They are made at 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (ATC) size. I cut all the images at 7cm.

Spongebob squarepants

Best day ever

I hope he likes it!
