3D Cricut Gingerbread house with hooked on craft stamps
This project has taken me a few days to complete but I just had to create this idea which came to mind a few months ago. You may call me crazy but I had a lot of fun making this 3D house and it's awesome to see my idea come to life.
Full view of the house
Close up of the front of the house.
Is that Mr Reindeer waiting for you at the door with a cup of hot cocoa?
Mr Snowman waiting by the tree. Is that Santa I can see in the window dropping off the presents?
Reindeer waiting in the sleigh for Santa to finish his work before they go to the next house.
Another Reindeer waiting by the chimney to pass Santa the presents!
Is that Mr Reindeer in the window hanging up his stocking for Santa?
While Mr Gingerbread man waits outside with treats.
Another Gingerbread man waiting by the window for Santa and outside with more treats.
I am entering this house into the following challenges:
Copic Oz challenge - Christmas with a twist
Scrap creations - Anything goes
Paper romance challenge - Winter theme
Fussy and fancy challenge - Anything but a card
I did it creations challenge - surprise me
Stamp something challenge - christmas colour combos
Secret crafter challenge - Christmas
How did I do it?
With the magical help of the cricut gypsy I was able to merge and weld images together to cut out on the cricut machine.
Winter woodlands cricut cartridge was used for the following:
I created the house using the 3d building 4 cut at 7.6 inches and used it across 2 pages which I taped together which was meant to be a fold. I hid the opening windows on the front and replaced them with rectangles to be cut out. The other parts of the house were also cut at 7.6 inches.
The 3d christmas tree was also used from this cart.
My paper dolls dress up was used for the fence which I welded together.
Christmas cricut cartridge:
I used the windows and shrunk and enlarged them to fit the windows on the house. I used the matching door and welded a long rectangle (George cartridge) on the side to act as the hinge. I used the door layer as the window for the attic and shrunk it to fit. I cut out acetate by hand and glued to the inside of the windows which I later added stickles glitter glue for snow effect.
Holiday cakes cricut cartridge:
I used the scallop border and enlarged it to fit the length of the roof by layering it over the roof in the gypsy to get the right dimensions. I also shrunk it to fit the attic and door roof as well. I layered these row after row which was tedious and I used stickles glitter on it as well. I also used the peppermint swirl candy and layered it with jac paper for the red glitter and stuck a bling in the centre.
Plantin Schoolbook:
I used the grass border which I welded
together for the icicles on the roof. I cut one layer out of white paper and another layer out of jac paper which I glittered to look like snow.
Christmas Cheer:
I used the candy canes from this cartridge and layered with jac paper again for the red glitter.
Candy on the fence was also cut from a group of lollies which I hid the parts I didn't want to cut.
All the stamped and coloured images using copic markers are from Hooked on Craft and they have a fantastic special on till Christmas. Get 20% off everything till the end of December. Spend $60 or more and receive free postage world wide!
I stamps used are from the christmas range:
That just about sums it up and if you have any questions about this please email me through info@hookedoncraft.com

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY!
I decided to make her a Hello Kitty card as she is obsessed by Hello Kitty and the colour Pink as well.
I used the Hello Kitty Greeting Cricut cartridge for the strawberry shaped card as well as the image on the front. I also used Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge for the green swirls around the flower.
I added some bling and glitter of course and made sure I didn't get it in my eye this time!Kelly will understand that joke!

Robotz Dog card
I made this card a little while ago for my Nephew Ethan's birthday. He loves dogs and robots so I thought I would combine the two.
This is the outside of the card
The inside of the card
I used the Robotz Cricut cartridge but I can't remember what size I cut them at. I cut the white card out from Paisley cricut cartridge. Don't you just love the way the robot on the inside of the card has a message that opens up!
I had a lot of fun making this card but it did take me a while. Ethan loved it though and still has it on display!

Sweet Hearts wedding cards
I made these wedding cards and I thought I should share them with you.
I cut the bride and groom at 10cm from the Sweet hearts cricut cartridge. I embossed the wedding dress using my cuttlebug. I ended up colouring the ribbon and green flower stem with copic markers as it was just too fiddly to cut them out of separate paper. I used flower soft for the bouquet which I think looks awesome. I also gave the bride a mini veil and put a flower in her hair. I also used stickles on the edge of her veil. I used a Martha Stewart punch and decorated with bling.
I hope the lucky couple appreciate the effort involved!

I also made them some ATC collector cards to add to their stash.
They are made at 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches (ATC) size. I cut all the images at 7cm.
Here they are
Sorry about the last couple they are not as clear.
I hope they like them!
