Hookedoncrafts 18th Challenge "More than one Fold!"
Thank god that Hookedoncraft challenges have decided to go monthly as I just got this card made in time.
I don't seem to have as much time as I used to as the Twins are now almost 4 months.
More than one fold is the theme this month at Hookedoncraft challenges
I had to make thankyou cards for everyone that so kindly gave me something for the Twins. I ended up having to make 24 and somehow managed to get them done in 3 days between feed and sleep times!
Here is the thankyou card I made.
It's called a crisscross card and I thought it worked quite well as I had a boy and a girl and was able to incorporate some papers to represent each of them.
The inside of the card where I just had to stamp this cute twins image from LOTV which a friend lent to me.
I decided not to colour in the image and kept the card design simple otherwise it would be next year before I was able to send them out!
I also slipped in a laminated photo of the twins with a magnet on the back for them to put on their fridge.
I used a Justrite stamp for the Thankyou sentiment and I just love how you can mix and match with this type of stamp.
I have used Spellbinders to cut the circle sentiments out and also the lacey circles. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the zig zag border.
The Leaves, Roses, Mesh Ribbon, White adhesive pearls and little flowers are from Hookedoncraft
Please pop over to the Challenge and check out the rest of the Design team cards and be sure to join in the fun.
